- 1 / 5By Robert BenderI came to Chili's on Iowa with my girlfriend. Our waiter was somewhat attentive at first. The beer I ordered tasted stale or dirty. The fajitas I ordered and received were of poor quality. The tortillas were lethery, hard, and not fresh. The peppers and onions were tepid and undercooked. Many onion skins were also present. The chicken was extremely poor. It was spongy and had a very unpleasant taste. I feel it may have been freezer burned. I brought these issues to the waiter who informed the manager. The manager offered no apology. He did not offer a refund. He seemed almost skeptical. After we paid and we're on our way out he came and offered a coupon for a single free dessert. I refused.
